Sambangi Lampung, Ketum APJII Tekankan Pentingnya Literasi Digital
LAMPUNG – Gelaran Safari Ramadhan APJII akhirnya sampai di Pulau Sumatera. Ketua Umum Jamalul Izza dan jajaran pengurus pusat bersilaturahmi dengan Pengurus Wilayah Lampung pada 24 Mei 2019. Suasana hangat dan penuh kekeluargaan sangat kentara dalam acara tersebut. Ratusan tamu undangan yang terdiri dari unsur pemerintah dan swasta membaur dengan anak-anak yatim dari panti asuhan setempat. Selain ajang silaturahmi, acara buka puasa bersama ini juga menjadi kesempatan untuk saling berbagi.
Dalam kesempatan istimewa tersebut, Ketua Umum Jamalul Izza banyak menyoroti aktivitas dan pencapaian asosiasi. “Melalui program Miss Internet Indonesia, APJII rutin mengadakan acara-acara terkait dengan literasi digital di daerah-daerah,” ungkapnya.
Jamal menegaskan target program ini sangat beragam mulai dari civitas akademika hingga UMKM. APJII berharap gerakan literasi digital ini bisa menginspirasi masyarakat untuk menggunakan internet untuk hal-hal yang baik sehingga bermanfaat dalam menunjang kehidupan sehari-hari.
Senada dengan Jamal, Ketua Pengwil APJII Lampung Supriyandi juga menegaskan pentingnya penetrasi internet di masyarakat. “Internet bukan hak milik kelompok tertentu. Internet hadir di berbagai level masyarakat,” ujarnya.
Isan pun berharap agar penetrasi internet di Indonesia bisa terus meningkat sehingga seluruh lapisan masyarakat bisa menikmatinya. Khusus untuk wilayah Lampung, ia berharap anggotanya semakin solid, berkembang bersama, dan dapat membantu pemerintah dalam melakukan penetrasi internet.
